The basics of Pet Cockatiel Care
Cockatiels are among the most popular birds. Small leathers come in a wide variety of colors and textures, they are beautiful as a friendly. Due to their small size, skin care and grooming are easier than some other boys. They may speak, though they may not fully understand. However, they are very good when they are in pain and are often taught to beat.
Choosing Birds
It is best to choose the right baby or at least a young bird that has always been ready. Prices will vary in color and you can expect to pay a little more from a conscience educator, but a good bird pays for every other. Cockatiels are very common in pet stores, but these birds can get a popular story. As a result, they may age, not to be fixed, becoming more and more difficult.
Look for birds that are bright, alert and active. A bird that sits quietly on its wings can get sick and at its best. The ligaments should be well shiny and lie flat on the body. Homes around the vent / cloaca should be clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. The nostrils should be good, the nails good, the nails should be nice and nice, the nostrils should be clean and tidy.
Cages for Cockatiels
Cockatiels are active and playful and should have a big edge.
Ideas and sizes vary, but the right-hand system is at least 20 inches by 20 inches wide, and 26 inches wide as small. Space in the open space should be no more than 3/4 inches (anything larger is a risk). Slot covers provide the best opportunity for climbing and exercising.
There should be space to accommodate at least one couple at different levels and enough space so that they can move between them. Most cockatiel cage comes with a bottom tray that is easy to clean.
Cockatiels
Variations are the mainstay of a healthy diet. Fruits can be nutritious and high in fat so it should be only part of the diet (some experts recommend more than 30 percent of the diet). Dietary supplements are often a good choice for birds as they process nutrients but birds cannot choose their favorite plant and leave others behind. However, both wood and pellets of various other nutrients should make the food available. Vegetables and fruits should be provided, although consistency is important before your bird can try fresh food (especially if they are eating a full meal). Nutrients such as hard-boiled meat, meatballs, and cooking utensils are provided. Turning fruit is a great way to add variety to your diet. Avoid avocado.
